Two Indiana Men Arrested by Illinois State Police

Two Indiana men are facing charges after a traffic stop on I-57. Illinois State Police (ISP) District 21 report the arrest of 38-year-old Charles J, Enright of Rensselaer, IN for possession of cannabis. He was also wanted on a warrant. Also arrested was 30-year-old Jerry D. Souders of Rensselaer for driving while license suspended.

On September 26, 2013, at approximately 5:42 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Iroquois County. The trooper observed a vehicle following too closely. A driver's license inquiry revealed Souders Indiana driver's license to be suspended. The passenger, Enright, was wanted on a warrant out of Kankakee County. Both men were jailed in Iroquois County.

Souders was charged with Driving While License Suspended. Enright was charged with Wanted on Warrant and Possession of Cannabis.
