A Task Force has arrested a 28-year-old man who’s been on the run since an apartment shooting in Manteno back in September.

Robert Williams was taken into custody at a relative’s apartment in Chicago. Charges against Williams include attempted murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Police had been searching for Williams since a shooting incident at a downtown Manteno apartment September 24.

The arrest was made by the U.S. Marshalls Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force.
