Unemployment rates show improvement

The latest unemployment numbers show a decrease over-the-year in October in all 14 Illinois Metro areas.  Communities across the state have experienced sustained job growth.  Officila spoint out that by passing the bipartisan Rebuild Illinois capital plan and legislation like the minimum wage increase, Governor Pritzker is ensuring the state's economy continues to thrive.

Iroquois County unemployment improved by a tenth of the percent to 3.6%.  Ford County is listed at 3.7%, down from 4.6 in September of last year.  Vermilion Count is at 4.9%, down from an event five percent in September.  Kanakkee is at 4.3%, down from 5.1 a year ago.
