LINCOLN TWP SHOOTING - Ten Oaks Mobile Home Park

                                                                              Three suspects identified

Newton County, IN sheriff's police are identifying three suspects wanted in connection with a shooting at the Ten Oaks Mobile Home Park.

Criminal charges have been filed against Demetrius Wright aka “D”, Alomandos T. Hawkins aka “Manny” and Milton J. Sykes Jr. aka “BD” for Attempted Murder, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon and Criminal Recklessness.

On Friday November 16th, a search warrant was granted and executed at a residence and last known location of the suspects in Hopkins Park, IL. An unrelated arrest warrant was served on a female residing at that location.

The Newton County Sheriff’s Office and Prosecutor’s Office was assisted by the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Department Detective and Emergency Response Team and KAMEG (Kankakee Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group).

The gunshot victim and driver of the vehicle that crashed into the mobile home have been identified as Jeffery Fraze Jr. Fraze is being treated for his injuries.
