Don’t plan to place a legitimate bet on the Super Bowl in Illinois. The state’s sports betting industry isn’t expected to be up and running by then. The law was enacted this summer and proponents had hoped to have it going for football season, but state Rep. Michael Zalewski said he now hopes people will be able to bet on sports sometime in March.
