The Kankakee County Coroner’s Office identified 41-year-old Stantio Martinez of Willowbrook as the victim of a fatal car crash in Iroquois County Wednesday. Martinez died of injuries at Riverside Hospital. He was a passenger in a car driven by Felipe Aranda. Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police report Aranda’s car was hit by one operated by Christopher Benz of Onarga. Benz allegedly ran past a stop sign at 500 E and 1900 N near Gilman.

The two-car crash was investigated by Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police.
