Shawn Bransky has been named the new director for the VA Illiana Health Care System in Danville. Bransky will oversee the 302-bed hospital and a 223-bed Community Living Center. He’ll also direct four outpatient clinics in Springfield, Peoria, Decatur and Mattoon.

Bransky’s new role begins May 26th after serving as the Deputy Director for the Phoenix VA Health Care System in Phoenix, Arizona.

VA Illiana Health Care oversees healthcare to more than 150,000 Veterans living in 30 counties across Illinois and Indiana. Bransky will be responsible for an operating budget of nearly $186-million dollars and a workforce of 1,414 personnel.
