Illinois State Police investigated a two-vehicle crash in Vermilion County's Butler Township Tuesday evening.  Two Paxton residents died in the accident, which involved a reported stolen car from Rantoul.  Coroner Jane McFadden hasn't released the victim's names.  

ISP reported an eastbound car 3550 N Road ran a stop sign and hit a Jeep on its driver's side.  Two people in the Jeep died.  The driver of the car also was killed.

The crash occurred  two miles east of the Champaign-Vermilion County line, near Illinois Route 49.
