The Vermilion County Health Department has appointed a new public health administrator.  Dr. Prince Danso Odei comes from the Florida Department of Health, where he was an administrator and Disease Prevention & Control Manager.  He starts his new position in Danville November 1.

The Board of Health committee stated it was confident in the direction Odei will take the health department, stating is extensive background in public health is obvious and he has a passion for improving public health in communities he serves.
