The Illinois State Police has investigators looking into an officer-involved shooting. Reports said it involved a 20-year-old man from Danville.

The shooting happened about 4:15 Thursday morning on Georgetown Road, in Danville.

A domestic disturbance alerted Vermilion County Sheriff's deputies When they arrived, 20-year old Caleb Emory was at the residence.

At some point, Emory was shot by a deputy. State Police were not releasing all the details. Emory was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to state police.
