Vermilion County's 'Relay for Life' for the American Cancer Society is this weekend. And the Saturday – Sunday event is at a new location at Catlin High School.

Organizer Hope Garrett said the thought was to take the show on the road this year to show it's more than just a Danville event.

The first ceremonial lap honoring survivors will begin around 6:00 pm today (Sat) at the Catlin High School track. Garrett says teams can still register right up to the start of the event.

During the Relay for Life team members walk laps and participate in other fun activities to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society. The money raised helps cancer patients and programs in Vermilion County.
