Here's what's open and closed this Veterans Day. Since Monday is a federal holiday, many government services and most banks are closed. So are Federal Reserve banks. But major retailers will stay open, including Target, Walmart, Costco, and many grocery chains. Veterans can also get perks at various retailers and restaurants. Veterans along with active-duty military can visit select stores for Free items.  UPS and FedEx are operating as normal, but the U. S. Postal Service is not delivering mail. Most government institutions, county offices, DMVs or local libraries are treating today as a holiday.  Most banks are closed.
