Today's Veterans Day finds all who have served in the armed forces getting a virtual pat-on-the-back in many states and communities due to the pandemic.  Officials encourage people to celebrate veterans while following social distancing guidelines.  The COVID-19 situation finds many American Legions and VFW's having canceled earlier-scheduled appreciation breakfats and lunches.  Some however, are hosting special events to honor veterans and their families. We suggest you check with your local organizations.

Many schools and government offices are closed today for the holiday.
