The Danville Veterans Administration facility is now offering the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to all veterans, regardless of age. A spokesperson said the facility began receiving vaccine shipments in mid-December and has now administered more than 5,000 doses to staff members and veterans.

Appointments are required. No walk-ins allowed. Veterans who are enrolled at the facility can call 217-554-4444 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday to speak to a call center representative. Upcoming clinics are scheduled at V.A. sites in Bloomington, Danville, Decatur, Mattoon, Peoria and Springfield.
