Veterans Night fundraiser part of girls basketball game in Watseka

An upcoming high school girl’s basketball game in Watseka looks to benefit military veterans and their families. A Monday night, February 7 matchup features Watseka and Cissna Park. The two teams will suit up in red, white & blue jerseys to represent America and raise money for veterans. A chili supper before the game is designed to raise funds for the non-profit Wreaths Across America organization.

The chili supper will be served from 4:30 – 6 pm. Veterans from the Cissna Park and Watseka American Legions will be recognized. Legion Post 23 in Watseka will present America’s colors for the pre-game National Anthem.

The Lady Warriors and Lady T-wolves tip off at 6:30 pm.
