As with most consolidated elections, voter turnout in Illinois on Tuesday was meager. The Iroquois County turnout was 25%, the City of Watseka had a 28% turnout where a mayoral race and all four city Wards had contested races. In DuPage County, voter turnout was about 16%. That is compared to around 20% during the last consolidated election. Voter turnout in McLean County was nearly 30% where a 1% tax increase for schools was on the ballot and was approved by voters.
