It's 'too soon to plant,' but not too soon to talk weather and drone-use in agriculture. That's the focus of a farm/business forum at Celebrations in Watseka Wednesday.
The pre-season ag program called "Too Soon to Plant" will feature llinois State Climatologist Jim Angel and Gibson City farmer Randy Aberle, co-owner Flying Ag.
WGFA Radio (94.1 ) is among the vendors promoting the themes --- "Too Soon to Plant," "Drones in Agriculture" and "Will Heavy Rains Keep Falling?"
Angel is expected to address last year's heavy rains and expectations for the upcoming planting and growing season. Aberle will discuss the use of drones in agriculture.
Other local businesses with displays include Travel Discoveries, Flying Ag, U of I Extension, State Climatologist's Weather Watchers, McCullough Implement, Healing Arts Massage, Body and Balance Therapeutic Massage, Ford-Iroquois Farm Bureau. WGFA Radio plans to broadcast 'live' during the event.
