A Sunday night fire in Watseka sent two people to Iroquois Memorial Hospital with smoke inhalation. It was a couch fire at 226 E. Locust Street, according to Fire Chief Tim Ketchum, that led to significant smoke and heat damage to the apartment. Two residents were taken to IMH by Riverside Ambulance. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshall.
