The Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce (WACC) announced the hiring of a new Executive Director. Amanda Hibbs comes to the WACC with several years of experience in public relations.

The WACC is gearing up for several upcoming events including Customer Appreciation Days, PASSPORT Coupon Book, and the Annual Meeting and Awards Night.

Ms. Hibbs will then focus on getting out and introducing herself to the members of the community to become more familiar with faces and what they have to offer. Amanda plans to strive to increase membership within the WACC and hopes to bring some fresh new ideas aboard as well as becoming more aware of what is happening in the Watseka area.
