A disturbance outside Watseka City Hall last week has a 20-year-old Watseka man facing charges of Aggravated Battery and Disorderly Conduct.

Brett Ordonez was arrested after he allegedly battered an elderly male subject over some kind of civil matter.

It was just past 9 pm Thursday when police officers responded to cries for help in the City Hall parking lot. The victim was treated for injuries at Iroquois Memorial Hospital.

Ordonez spent time at the Iroquois County Jail and has since been released on bond.
