The Prairie States Christian Service Camp, just south of Watseka, extends a invitation to area youth to share the experience of an overnight camp while meeting other area kids.  Visitors can stop by the camp at 1681N  County Highway 43, call 815-432-3578, or visit the website www.prairiestatescamp.com

The camp's location is about a mile and a-half toward Woodland, if heading out of Watseka on 2nd Street.

Prairie States Christian Camp offers several activities.  Each day Bible classes and Worship services are held, meals are shared, and there's talent and music shows.  

Camp Manager Dustin Wells says the mission and purpose is to teach young people about Jesus and facilitate that by making it a good experience.  And the cost for camp is affordable at just $100 for a full week, including meals, program offerings ans snacks. Camp management can work with parents if the price is an issue.
