The Watseka City Council hopes to have answers to questions by its May 28th meeting about operating the Water & Wastewater plant, now managed by ERH Enterprises.
It’s been an almost 2-year discussion about possibly taking back the water works operation to make it an in-house program. ERH has managed the city’s plant for several years.
At a special Public Works committee meeting (Tuesday), questions concerning costs to operate re-surfaced. Some Council members said there still waiting to hear from outside sources before deciding if an in-house operation is best for the city.
Meanwhile -- ERH’s Sean & John McBride told the Council several issues in an ERH/Robinson Engineering Report have been discussed previously but changes on the Council have new faces in the mix, leading to differences of opinion.
