Reports of a person with gun triggered a police chase in Watseka Sunday afternoon. A 22-year-old Watseka man is now facing several charges.

Watseka Police responded to a Person with a Gun in the 100-block of W. Oak Street just after 5 pm. Police reported a car fled the scene as they arrived. The driver refused to stop and headed northbound out of town. Iroquois County Sheriff deputies joined the pursuit until the get-away car ran out of gas. Arrested was Jonathon Schill. He’s facing charges of aggravated fleeing & alluding, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, resisting an officer and traffic offenses, including no insurance, driving while suspended and disobeying stop signs.
