Watseka man arrested for burglary & theft

A traffic stop in Watseka led to the arrest of 43-year-old Jeremiah Walker.  The Watseka man is charged on three outstanding Iroquois County warrants for theft and burglary and for failing to appear in court for another theft charge.  Details about the charges were not provided by police.  City officers made the traffic stop on Route 24 at County Highway 27 just before midnight Monday. 

Arrested with Walker was 29-year-old Arturo Martinez of Kentland, IN.  He was arrested on an Iroquois County warrant for failure to appear for DUI-drugs.  Martinez is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
