The Watseka community is bearing American flags at residences and businesses to honor a local fallen soldier.  Army Sgt. Jeremy Sherman was returned to the Dover Air Force Base (Tuesday).  He was among five American soldiers who died last week in a helico[ter crash in Egypt while serving on a peacekeeping miission in the Sinai peninsula.  Also killed were a French and Czech peacekeeper. V-P Mike Pence was on hand for the dignified transfer of returns of the soldiers. Flags are on display in Watseka sites, including along Route 1 and 24.  Funeral arrangements are pending at the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.  Sgr. Sherman was a 2015 graduate of Watseka Community High School.
