Watseka Police Arrest High School Teacher

Watseka Police Department conducted a short investigation that led to the arrest of a Watseka High School Agriculture teacher. Police were notified on Tuesday of a teacher that was reportedly making inappropriate comments to the students during her teaching. Police then launched an investigation in which numerous students were interviewed at the Children's Advocacy Center in Watseka. Police also learned that the teacher had on a few occasions showed some of the students pornographic images. On Thursday, Police arrested Baylee Bushong, 23, Hoopeston. Bushong was charged with grooming and harmful material. Bushong was transported to the Iroquois County jail, where she remains. The investigation is ongoing and more charges may be pending.
