An un-identified woman is hospitalized in stable condition after a weekend shooting in Watseka. The woman was air-lifted to Carle Hospital in Urbana. Her name was withheld while her family was notified.

Watseka Police report the arrest of 25-year-old Jerry Pintelon of Watseka. He's charged with attempted murder and 2-counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm.

Police were called to a report of shots fired in the 100-block of E. Ash Street Sunday. Police arrived to find the female subject had been shot several times. A short investigation led to Pintelon's arrest.
