Larry Gatlin in Concert performs at the Watseka Theatre this Saturday, July 9.  Area veterans are invited to enjoy the show.  And any veteran or member of the military is welcome free of charge.

The Watseka Theatre will have an active role at the American Legion National Convention in Cincinnati, Ohio.  The national convention is August 26 thru September 1, 2016 in Cincinnati.  The Legion's Open Session will include the Watseka Theatre connection.

Convention officials will video part of the Larry Gatlin concert at the Watseka Theatre Saturday. The Gatlin-Watseka Theatre connection will be included during the opening session at the national convention. 

Officials plan to film the veterans Meet & Greet at the Watseka Theatre then show a portion of the video during the Legion's National Convention Open Session. 

Larry Gatlin is widely-known for his strong patriotic beliefs and his message "Land of the Free and Home of the Brave."  Gatlin fights terrorism with his country music and is known for his performance of 'American with a Remington.'  

Watseka Theatre owner Chuck Gomez says "the theatre is honored to be chosen for the filming and proud Watseka is representing small town America at her finest !"
