Watseka: Toy Drive to Help Kentucky Tornado Kids

In the spirit of the Christmas season, victims of the Kentucky tornado last weekend won't be forgotten.  The Watseka Family Festival committee has organized a Toy Drive for the Kids affected by the deadly tornado.  Local support would be appreciated.

The Watseka Festival volunteers are seeking new un-wrapped toys or gift cards to deliver and distribute to the victims.  Donations can be dropped off again Friday at the Watseka Wal-Mart parking lot from 5 - 8 pm and Saturday 8 am - 12 Noon.   Donations will be delivered to Kentucky Saturday evening.

Watseka Ag Department ---  welcomes donations for tornado victims.  Non-perishable foods, cleaning items, and gift cards from chain stores, gas stations and lumber yards are items that would be helpful for victims.  The Watseka Agriculture Department will serve as a drop-off point for donations.  The Ag Shop will be open Sunday 2-5 pm and Monday Noon til 6 pm.  Donated items will be sent to Kentucky next Tuesday, December 21st.
