Sheriff's Police in Iroquois County investigated a single-vehicle traffic accident Friday that injured a 16-year-old juvenile. The driver lost control while eastbound on 3300 N Road in rural St. Anne.  The snow-covered roadway led to the accident, the vehicle entered a ditch embankment and struck a utility pole.

WGFA News learned Bryce Denoyer suffered serious injury.  He was treated at Riverside Hospital in Kankakee, then later transported to Loyola Medical Center in Maywood. 

Police said no citations were issued. Riverside EMS was at the scene along with Papineau, Martinton and St. Anne Fire.
