Federal weapons charges have been filed against three men, two from Kankakee and another from Bradley. Indictments were returned in U.S. District Court in Urbana.

28-year-old Brandon Shoffner, 24-year-old Zaire Virgen, and 31-year-old Maurice Terrell of Bradley, were arrested in Kankakee by Project Safe Neighborhood task force agents.
All three have previous records. And all three are in the custody of the U.S. Marshalls service.

If convicted, the three face up to 10 years in prison.
