Afternoon temperatures are expected to reach the mid-80s today. Tuesday’s highs in the upper 80s, with heat index readings of 95 to 100. There may be showers and thunderstorms Tuesday.
On Wednesday, Independence Day, temps are likely to reach near 90 again with the heat index at or near 98 -103. There may be showers and T-storms Wednesday too.
Hot, humid conditions are expected Thursday before more mild temps in the 80s Friday into the weekend.
