Weekend events in Illiana includes a presentation concert at Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka Saturday.  The Concordia University, Wisconsin Chamber Choir sings at 6 pm Saturday.  It's part of the 2024 spring tour.  Admission is Free, but a freewill offering will be collected. 

The choir will sing unaccompanied chorcal pieces in a variety of musical pieces from the 1500s to the present.  It's entitled "Sing Unto the Lord."

St. Peter Lutheran Church at Crescent City is hosting its first drive-through lunch  -- Lunchin' on a Prayer -- from 11 am 'til 1 pm Saturday, May 11.  Lunch is a freewill donation...pork burger, chips, piece of pie and an optional prayer by Pastor Joel Brown.  Proceeds benefit the missions of St. Peter Lutheran Church.

The nlunch coincides with the town-wide garage salels in Crescent City.

Commences exercsies are tomorrow (Saturday, May 11) ay KCC and ONU.  The 55th Annual Commencement at Kankakee Community College is at 10 am in the George H. Ryan Gymnasium in the campus Activities Building.  Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais hosts iys 111th Commencement, 846 graduates to be recognized.
