Kankakee County Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a weekend stabbing at a rural residence in St. Anne. Anyone with info about the incident is asked to reach out to the sheriff’s department or call Crime Stoppers 815-932-7463.

Sheriff’s Police report a 17-year-old male subject was airlifted to a Chicago-area hospital. The stabbing police said happened Sunday morning. Police report a fight broke out at a residence near South 5000E Road, west of St. Anne. .Deputies answered the call shortly before 1 am Sunday.

No word on the injury to the stab victim. Police said the suspect involved had left the scene prior to police arriving.
