Weekend Weather Outlook

County Fair weather and more July 4th sunshine is in store for WGFA listeners as we move into the weekend.  Mostly dry weather is on tap across Central Illinois.  Morning showers and some storms were in the forecast. After the passage of a cold front, the wet weather ends and skies become mostly sunny. Breezy winds are likely with highs in the low-to-mid-80s on this Friday 7/5.

Comfortable temps tonight and Saturday night with lows in the low-to-mid-60s. Saturday highs in the 80s with sunshine.

Sunday's outlook a little warmer and Monday too, highs likely to reach the upper 80s.  Showers and storms return late Sunday night and look for a daily chance of wet weather through Thursday.  Highs will be in the mid-80s for most of next week.

The Punkin' Vine Fair in Newton County, IN has events starting this weekend.  Harness Racing leads to the 4-H activities next week.  The Queen Pageant is Monday evening at the Kentland Fairgrounds.

Onarga's July 4th holiday fun is this weekend too. Durham Park is the setting for family fun today (Friday) and Saturday. The Lazy Days Car Show is Saturday 1-3 pm. The Onarga Fire Department provides the big Fireworks Show at Dusk Saturday.
