The Westville Lions Club is hosting that community's 104th Labor Day Parade and Celebration this holiday weekend. Events are taking place at Zamberletti Park and St. Mary's Church.

The Westville Labor Day Parade is often called "the longest running Labor Day parade in Illinois and maybe even the United States.'

'The church plays a big role in the celebration. There's an International Food Fest. The Second Annual Cruise In features antique and classic cars And events continue at St. Mary's Church and Zamberletti Park on Monday. The Westville Labor Day Parade begins at 11:30 Monday morning following the Danville Labor Day Parade which starts at 10:00 a.m.
