The search is on for the coolest thing made in Illinois.  The Illinois Manufacturers' Association has launched its 4th annual Makers Madness contest. The bracket-style tournament allows Illinoisans to vote on their favorite products made in the state. IMA President Mark Denzler says manufacturing is a driving economic force in the Land of Lincoln.
Last year’s winner was the all-electric R1T truck made by Rivian Automotive in Normal. Nominations are now being accepted at MakersMadnessIL-dot-com and voting begins on February 21. The winner will be announced on March 29.
