The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children in Illinois has expanded its offerings to include new foods, additional package sizes and food quantity adjustments to align with nutrition science and dietary needs. On average, more than 175,000 Illinois residents receive WIC benefits each month.
