Illinois State Police said two people were killed in a three-vehicle crash on Wilmington Road at U.S. Route 45/52 in Will County Sunday. The crash occurred just before 8:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Wilmington Road, according to a ISP press release. One of the vehicles caught fire as a result of the crash. Two people were declared dead on scene. Two other people were transported to area hospitals with injuries. 

The investigation is ongoing, and there was no further information at this time.
