Wilmington Hit Hardest In Storm

                                      Grant Park still lacking power

Clean up is underway for Will County residents. Wilmington and the Grundy County town of Morris were hard hit Monday night by storms that rocked parts of northern Illinois and Indiana.

Severe storms knocked out power lines and downed trees. In Morris 200 to 300 trees have been uprooted.

In Kankakee County, the town of Grant Park still had about 1200 ComEd customers without power. Some may have to wait until Friday. The NWS has confirmed two tornadoes touched down in and near the community Monday night.

A NIPSCO sub-station near DeMotte in Jasper County also sustained severe damage.
