A wind advisory will be in place from mid-morning today (Thursday) thru 7 pm this evening for much of our WGFA-listening area...northwest winds may clock at 30 to 40+ miles per hour.  Scattered rain and now showers are included in the forecast.  Wednesday evening storms brought rain, hail and high winds that damaged rooftops and took down trees and utility poles in Illinois, Indiana and Arkansas.  Semis were blown over along I-57 and I-72 in Champaign County.  The Hoopeston and Alvin area in Vermilion County had structure damage too.  Minor injuries were reported.  Damage assessments were underway today.
