The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory starting Tuesday night for all of east-central Illinois. Much of west-central Indiana is included.

The advisory will be in effect until noon Wednesday, including the Illinois counties of Ford, Iroquois and Vermilion. Champaign, Coles, DeWitt, Douglas, Edgar, Macon, Moultrie, Piatt, and Shelby are also included.

There could be up to two inches of snow and up to one tenth of an inch of ice. The mix of snow and ice will make travel difficult.
