The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for a good portion of the WGFA-listening area. The advisory is in effect from 2 pm today (Thursday) through 3 am Friday. Ford, Iroquois, Champaign and Vermilion counties are included.

Snowfall totals could range from one to four inches across the area. There could be a light glaze of ice in some places. The combination of snow and ice will create slick roads. Caution is advised.
