Benton County, In sheriff's police say a Goodland, IN man was arrated for criminal recklessness and obstructing traffic after a road rage incident Sunday.  24-year-old Austin Nelson operated a pickup truck recklessly causing his girlfriend to fall from the vehicle.  21-year-old Haley Spurlock of Goodland suffered a serious head injury in the fall. 

Police reported Nelson mistakenly accused a semi driver of causing the rear windown of his pickup to break. Nelson was swerving trying to stop the semi driver while Spurlock was hanging out at the window in an attempt to get the semi driver to stop.  The woman fell from the truck hitting her head on the roadway.It happened on U.S. 41 at County Road 700 N.  Police report the investigation did not link the semi driver or his vehicle to the broken window of the pickup truck.
