A fiery crash in Benton County, IN is under investigation. Authorities report a woman was pulled from the burning vehicle after it went up in flames near Oxford.

Investigators say the driver was northbound on State Road 55. near State Road 52, The woman’s car ran off the road near State Road 52, then caught fire after hitting the railroad tracks. The woman was able to get to safety with help from a local fire marshal, who happened to be passing the scene.
The un-identified woman was treated at an area hospital.

Police are still looking into why her vehicle left the road. They don't believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
