The American Legion at Cissna Park is among the organizations participating in the annual Wreaths Across America program. An 11 am ceremony is set for Saturday (December 16th) at the Legion home. The public is welcome.

Wreaths will then be delivered to several area cemeteries to honor those who have served.

The first truck bringing thousands of wreaths to Danville’s National Cemetery are to be unloaded today (Wednesday morning) And the Wreaths Across America group is looking for some good volunteers to help with the unloading. The truck will be at the VA National Cemetery where the unloading process will begin at 8:00 a.m.
