Yet another suspect in custody in connection with death of Nicole Bowen

The Newton County, IN Sheriff’s Department reports the search for Talitha Beckley is over. She’s another person wanted for investigators to talk to about the death of a West Lafayette woman.

Beckley is in custody, also charged with assisting a criminal. The charge is related to the death of Nicole Bowen who was found dead in Newton County March 30th. The 36-year-old Beckley is from Monticello, IN. Police added her to the list of people of interest authorities wanted to question.

Sheriff Captain Shannon Cothran said Beckley was jailed in Kentland.

Four other people have been arrested in the initial investigation. Garrett K. Kirts of Lebanon was arrested for the alleged murder of Bowen with Jasmine Parker, Christopher Channing Mathis, and Ashley Garth arrested for assisting a criminal.

Bowen's body was found just north of Kentland in Jefferson Township on Saturday, March 30th.
