After making their first NCAA Tournament Final Four in 21 years, the Fighting Illini Men's Basketball team won't have to reload too much in a quest to repeat the run next year. After David Mirkovic, Tomislav Ivisic, Zvonimir Ivisic and Jake Davis announced yesterday that they will all return to Illinois next season, Andrej Stojakovic joined the four of them with an announcement today that he will be back for his senior season.

The Illini also added this past Sunday Providence transfer Stefan Vaaks who averaged 15.8 points and 3.2 assists and was one of the top targets in the portal this offseason.

Ty Rodgers entered the transfer portal. He redshirted the 2024-25 season and then missed this past season after suffering a knee injury over the summer. He joins Mihailo Petrovic and Tony Bilic in the portal.
