The chairman of the Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce says 'Thank You," a huge Thank You to the many members and supporters who've made a mission happen.

Mike O'Brien even thanked his wife and parents for their roles in allowing him to share enough of his time to help direct the efforts of so many people who've contributed to the success of the chamber.

It was two years ago when local business leaders managed to achieve a long time goal by creating a single, unified chamber of commerce serving Aroma Park, Bourbonnais, Bradley and Kankakee.

Chairman O'Brien thanked his Board of Directors and presented business leader Joe Franco with an appreciation plaque. It extends a thank you for Franco's leadership in pulling the people into one room to make the mission of the chamber happen.
