NEWTON COUNTY, Ind.– Indiana State Police confirm a multiple-vehicle crash has closed Interstate 65 in both the north and and southbound directions at the Roselawn exit in Newton County. It happened just before 1 am.

Crews are still working the scene, in addition to another crash involving a nitric acid spill that happened around 11:30 Monday evening about three miles south of the Roselawn exit. Drivers should seek an alternate route.
